Jacksonville, Fl — Coming off a soaking Sunday in portions of NE Florida, we’re tracking more heavy rainfall as a dynamic wet pattern brings an additional 1-2′' of rain and locally 4′' or more.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Alyssa Pejic says skies will remain cloudy with scattered and storms developing by midday and this afternoon, with activity slowly drifting from west to east toward the I-95 corridor and the beaches.

Scattered storms will develop again Tuesday before a cold front moves through.
The second half of the week looks very nice with drier air and cooler temperatures.
Some spots in St. Johns County received 4-6" of rain yesterday - more rain and storms on top of saturated ground make for a flooding risk especially this afternoon #FirstAlertWX pic.twitter.com/VCYWblrA8k

💧 Don’t underestimate the power of water. It only takes 6” of fast-moving water to knock over an adult, and 12” to carry away a 🚗car.
