Higher humidity, increased rain and storms for mid-week

Jacksonville, Fl — Today will be warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s. The beaches will stay in the mid 80s.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says scattered showers and storms should develop this afternoon after 2-3 pm. A few of the storms may become strong producing gusty winds and perhaps even some hail. We will also be tracking locally heavy rainfall in some neighborhoods. The main spots to see the storms today will be along and north of I-10 and the I-95 corridor.
