Jacksonville, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash Monday evening on Beach Boulevard at I-295.
FHP says a red Yamaha scooter was in the left lane heading westbound on Beach shortly after 7:30 pm, when a gray Toyota Tundra traveling from the I-295 southbound entrance ramp crashed into it under the overpass.
The Tundra left the scene of the accident, and the driver of the scooter, identified as a 51-year-old man from Jacksonville, died on scene.
