Jacksonville — Colorado State University meteorologist Dr. Phil Klotzbach is releasing a revised 2018 Atlantic hurricane season outlook. Dr. Klotzbach said the cooler than average waters in the tropical Atlantic ocean will reduce the number of hurricanes and major hurricanes down one, to six and two respectively. He said there would still be 14 named storms, including Alberto.
