Jacksonville, FL — As Hurricane Florence threatens millions of Americans along the Carolina coast, we recount the lashing NE Florida took from Irma.
“A storm we’ll certainly never forget in Jacksonville and Northeastern Florida, bringing one of the greatest floods in history to the city of Jacksonville”, said Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh.
In addition to the historic flooding, Irma produced several tornadoes including an EF-2 that hit Crescent Beach in St. Johns County, causing considerable damage at the coast.
HURRICANE READY: BEFORE THE STORM
