Jacksonville, FL — Mary Svoboda, Interim President & CEO of Jax Federal Credit Union, tells Action News Jax reporter Ryan Nelson, they’re asking members to only wear masks that cover their noses and mouths, not their entire faces.
Svoboda tells us this measure is in place for members’ financial security.
She went on to say the masks which cover the nose and mouth may need to be temporarily removed to verify the customer’s identity.
VyStar Credit Union announced it will begin to reopen select branch lobbies on May 18th, with all lobbies opening by May 26th.
VyStar says access to its lobbies will be limited, similar to the state of Florida’s phased approach to loosening social distancing restrictions, while still closely following state and federal guidelines.
VyStar says protective face masks required for members entering branch:
- We will be limiting the number of visitors allowed in a branch at any one time.
- Members will be required to wear a protective face mask inside the branch.
- Social distancing will be practiced inside the branch.
- Hand sanitizer will be available, and sneeze guards have been installed.
- Deep sanitation of branches will be conducted daily after hours.
Jax Federal Credit Union Interim President and CEO said they have sneeze guards, will be limiting the number of people standing in line, recommending members use online banking/remote services, no longer providing coffee, asking members follow CDC guidelines on social distancing and allowing customers to make online appointments.
