Jacksonville, Fl. — Duval County Public Schools has confirmed that a small fire started in the cafeteria-stage area.
School officials say though the fire is out there is still smoke which means they cannot have staff and students inside.
Students will have class but it will be at J.E.B. Stuart Middle School. Parents can take their kids to their regular bus stops and they will be picked up.
Tabitha Collins with Duval County Public Schools says buses will be provided for walkers and car riders as well.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided as usual.
The school is still investigating and has not determined what caused the fire or the extent of the damages.
