Jacksonville, Fl. — Supporting their home team, the Jacksonville Humane Society has a case of Jaguar fever and they’re offering free pet adoptions this weekend, but there’s a catch.
Customers who wear Jaguars gear or teal Friday through Sunday will be allowed to adopt their new furry friends for free as the city celebrates the team’s playoff game. Staff will also be sporting their Jags gear.
Fans will be encouraged to share well-wishes for the team, and players on teal paw prints that will be displayed throughout JHS. The staff will share these well-wishes via social media throughout the weekend.
"We could not be prouder of our association with the Jaguars – who are winners in our book for so many reasons," says Denise Deisler, executive director of JHS.
The Jacksonville Humane Society is located at 8464 Beach Boulevard. They will be open Friday from 12 to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While adoption fees will be waived, other fees may apply.
