Jacksonville man indicted for prostitution business

A Jacksonville man has been federally indicted for overseeing a prostitution business.

39-year-old John Biggerstaff is accused of promoting, managing, establishing, and carrying on “a business enterprise that involved prostitution”, according to federal prosecutors.  The action allegedly took place June 30-July 31, 2016. The exact location of the business has not been disclosed in the available court filings.

If convicted, Biggerstaff faces a maximum of five years in prison.
