Wilson tells Action News Jax she arranged for Smith’s mother and fiance to speak to him by phone while he was in the ICU.
Wilson tells Action News Jax doctors and nurses working around the clock, treatment options like plaquenil and azithromycin, and loved ones speaking to Smith by phone, all played roles in his recovery.
Smith tells us he’ll be getting married in May.
