Jacksonville, Fl. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after they were called out to investigate a suspicious package at a Normandy Boulevard Walgreens.
Officers had responded had had Memorial Road shut down as they investigated the suspicious item found inside the men’s bathroom after an employee heard a loud sound. The bomb squad was called out as well as Jacksonville Fire and Rescue intelligence division.
The bomb squad found the suspicious package and discovered it was an empty cardboard box. There was some damage to a toilet, but police are positive it was not an explosive device.
