Jacksonville Police looking for man accused of selling stolen golf carts

Jacksonville FL — On Tuesday, Jacksonville Police announced investigators are looking for a man accused of selling stolen golf carts, as officers continue to investigate a series of golf cart thefts on the Northside and in the Oceanway area. Police say on November 17th investigators noticed a golf cart at the home of the suspect, 29-year-old Eric Sikes. After officers say they watched someone buy a golf cart from Sikes, they stopped them and found out that the cart, along with another one sold to the same person, was stolen. JSO says the buyer told them that both stolen golf carts were bought from Sikes.

We’re told an arrest warrant was issued against Sikes for Dealing in Stolen Property and police say they’ve not been able to find him yet.

JSO says if you have any information on where he could be, or if you have any information on similar cases you can contact JSO at 904-630-0500 or email them JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. You can remain anonymous and get a possible reward of up to $3,000 by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
