Jacksonville, FL — The next time you visit the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens-- you could crack open a cold beer.
That's as the zoo has announced it will be opening up a beer garden this Saturday. We're told it will be called 'The Watering Hole' and will be located on their dock on the Trout River.
The zoo says they've been asked by guests to have beer as an option, but it was previously limited to special events only. But now, 'The Watering Hole' will be serving local craft beers on weekends, as weather allows.
The zoo says the official opening will be part of their Manatee Festival on February 16th. Find full details, by clicking HERE.
We're told Bold City Brewery beers will be sold the first weekend, with the Bold City’s Mad Manatee IPA supporting the zoo’s Manatee Critical Care Center.
