It's a crime that's almost hard to believe.
A man is accused of putting 44 pairs of glasses in his pockets and then walking out of a Jacksonville Beach LensCrafters.
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department says the incident happened February 23, at the LensCrafters on 3rd Street South.
According to employees, the man walked around like he was shopping, but they grew suspicious when he left without talking to anyone.
The man was last seen leaving the parking lot in a dull, black color, 2-door sedan, possibly a Lexus or Infiniti.
