Jacksonville — JEA is offering a new way to pay your bill or someone else’s with the ‘Guest Pay’ feature.
JEA spokeswoman Geri Boyce explains the program as letting people lend some help. “Let’s say you have a child or a friend and you want to pay their bill or even you own without the hassle of logging on JEA.com you can.” Boyce said.
The program is simple; you just need the account number, the zip code and a debit or credit to make a payment on the account. This is a one-time payment.
“We typically get quite a few inquiries throughout the month of people who want to pay for a family member or a friend, maybe a church member and this is a great way to do that,” Boyce, shared.
JEA wants to make sure people know, they will not solicit people to use this service. So don’t be fooled by scammers, it’s only available on the official JEA website.
