Jacksonville, FL — It's disturbing for any parent to imagine.
The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested a woman, after her son was found standing in the middle of Francis Street in St. Augustine, wearing nothing, but his underwear.
According to the arrest report, Natalie Ridenour, 26, is charged with child neglect, after deputies say she failed to supervise her son this past Sunday.
He thankfully was not hurt, after another person quickly grabbed him, so he wouldn't be hit by oncoming traffic.
Deputies say they had to go to door-to-door to find his mom, who they say had been sleeping with the front door wide open. The arrest report says other children were also in the home.
Ridenour was currently out on probation in reference to a burglary, so this child neglect charge, puts her in violation of her probation, as well.
