While in prison, JSO says they seized letters written by Sims that contained incriminating statements about 36-year-old Walter Nicholson's murder. When they brought him back to Duval County for questioning, they say Sims admitted to his role in the murder.
Police believe Sims and the other man, Reuben Palmer, met Nicholson through a chatroom and arranged a meeting in 2012 with the intention of robbing him.
