JSO arrests former Fletcher High School teacher for alleged unlawful sexual activity with former students

Jacksonville, FL — An investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office ends with the arrest of a former Fletcher High School teacher.

JSO tells us they first received information back in March from the Duval County School Board Police Department about a possible sex crime, involving the suspect, 30-year-old Corey French.

JSO says their sexual assault unit got involved, making contact with the two alleged victims that French was accused of having previous sexual relationships with-- one a 16-year-old, the other a 17-year-old.

Police tell us both alleged victims were former students of French.

JSO says their investigation revealed that the two teens allegedly had sexual relations with French, while he was still employed at Fletcher High School, between the years of 2015 and 2017. As a result, French has since been arrested for unlawful sexual activity.
