Jacksonville - For the second time in about five months, a Westside bank has been robbed.
JSO says a man walked in to the TD Bank on San Juan Ave near Roosevelt and implied he had a weapon in his jacket. He demanded money from the teller, who complied with an unspecified amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, who’s 6’ and 180-200 lbs. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and white shoes.
One customer was in the bank, along with employees. Nobody was hurt.
This same bank was the subject of a robbery back in October. JSO says it’s too early to say if there’s any connection between these two incidents.
