Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a violent day in Brentwood.
According to JSO, officers got a ShotSpotter Alert at around 1:35 PM Thursday about Pearl Street, as well as a 911 call about someone being shot.
When officers arrived, a man was found dead in a home. He's described as a black man between 20 and 25-years-old.
From there, police say they were directed to a separate crime scene on W. 23rd Street, where an individual was found with a stab wound. Police say that individual is now stable, after being taken to the hospital.
Police believe there are 3 or 4 victims in the hospital, with one suffering a gunshot wound. The others are said to have stab wounds.
As for what happened, police believe there was a fight on Pearl Street, with some of those involved then traveling to W. 23rd Street. What led up to the fight remains under investigation.
Police say there's no suspect description to release at this time, but they do believe the suspect vehicle was either a maroon Challenger or Charger.
Police say these two scenes could possibly be related to a shooting that occurred on 5th Street.
