JSO: Repeated runaway from Lane Ave. returned home

Jade Davis 11-year-old Jade Davis went missing off Lane Avenue Sunday but returned home safe on Monday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says 11-year-old Jade Davis, who ran away from her Lane Avenue home after getting in a fight with her mother, has returned home and is safe.

Police called Davis a "repeated runaway child" in a tweet Monday afternoon.

According to police, Jade Davis had been involved in an argument with her mom following a fight over 'sexually explicit' text messages in Jaden's cell phone.  Several hours after Jade was disciplined her mom says she was no longer in their home and the back door was unlocked.

A neighbor reported seeing Jade run out hte back door.   We're told Jade does not have any family in the area.  The family lives at the Canterbury Apartment complex on Lane Avenue.  A search Sunday night by JSO, a K9 and and bloodhound turned up negative results.
