The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says 11-year-old Jade Davis, who ran away from her Lane Avenue home after getting in a fight with her mother, has returned home and is safe.
Police called Davis a "repeated runaway child" in a tweet Monday afternoon.
According to police, Jade Davis had been involved in an argument with her mom following a fight over 'sexually explicit' text messages in Jaden's cell phone. Â Several hours after Jade was disciplined her mom says she was no longer in their home and the back door was unlocked.
A neighbor reported seeing Jade run out hte back door. Â We're told Jade does not have any family in the area. Â The family lives at the Canterbury Apartment complex on Lane Avenue. Â A search Sunday night by JSO, a K9 and and bloodhound turned up negative results.
