Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is turning to the community for help as they try to track down the man who was last seen getting picked up by a Z-Trip driver.
JSO says Albert Hughes was picked up around 9:15 on Wednesday morning on North Myrtle Avenue. A witness told police they heard the driver for the Z-Trip was not the regular driver and had no record any other driver picking up the 72-year-old.
It’s not clear where Hughes was dropped off. According to police, he was supposed to be dropped off at the Quality of Life Treatment Center on Alumni Drive. JSO says the center was closed and they were unable to verify if he attended class on Wednesday.
The Sheriff’s Office says Hughes has mental incapacitation, does not communicate well and becomes disoriented and confused.
If you have any information, you’re asked to call JSO right away at 904.630.0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1.866.845.TIPS.
