Jacksonville, FL — The search is on for a suspect the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office says robbed a bank off Merrill Road.
According to JSO, the suspect walked into the Community First Credit Union, just before 5 PM Wednesday afternoon. Police say he then approached the teller and started a conversation about an account. During that conversation, police say he passed a note demanding money and claiming that he had a weapon.
JSO says the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money, with the suspect then leaving on foot. No one was hurt.
He's described as a 5'8'' white man. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red and white plaid shirt, blue jeans, dirty yellow shoes, a hat with a red front and black back, and a pair of black framed glasses.
