Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a reported bank robbery in the Argyle Forest area.

JSO says the suspect entered the 121 Financial Credit Union in the 6000 block of Youngerman Circle Tuesday afternoon, just after 4:00 pm.

Police say he passed a note to the teller demanding money, claiming he had a weapon, though one was never actually displayed.

We're told the teller complied and he left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He's described as a black man, about 5'5''- 5'7'' tall, and about 35-year-old. He was wearing a black rain coat and black pants.

One teller and one customer were inside at the time or the robbery, though thankfully, no one was hurt.

If you have any information, you're urged to reach out to JSO or CrimeStoppers.
