Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is working to learn if there's any connection, after two shooting victims wound up at the hospital Tuesday afternoon.
According to JSO, at around 4:40 PM Tuesday, officers were called about a person shot on Nolan Street on the Westside.
Officers say they found a woman in her 60's, who had non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the arm. We’re told she was taken to a nearby hospital.
Separately from this, JSO says another shooting victim, this time a juvenile, walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper chest. The juvenile's injuries are also described as non-life threatening.
JSO says the juvenile who walked into the hospital could be tied to the shooting on Nolan Street, but say they're still in the early stages of the investigation right now.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (904) 630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
