Jacksonville — Monday morning JFRD was still warning drivers to use caution when driving on JTB near hodges because of lingering smoke in the area.
Florida Highway Partol sent a notice saying they were monitoring the situation and urging drivers to slow down and be cautious of reduced visibility.
Florida Forest Service, says the wildfire broke out in the area Saturday night after lighting struck brush in the area.

Forestry crews are plowing fire breaks around the 35-acre fire on the Southside from yesterday. a flare up jumped the lines on the west side earlier today but 2 tractors are on scene now working to contain it now. No structures threatened. 95% contained at last check pic.twitter.com/DN1oFgSwrL

JFRD worked to get the 35 acre fire to 95 containment by Sunday night.
