A student was taken into custody after a loaded gun was found at Terry Parker High School Thursday morning, according to Duval County Public Schools.
We're told a tip about a possible weapon on campus led to the discovery.
The student was taken into custody and will face criminal charges as well as possible expulsion, according to DCPS.
No students were harmed or threatened during this incident.
"Duval County Public Schools is very pleased with the responsiveness and cooperation of our students, staff and security teams," DCPS said in a statement.
This is actually the second gun found at Terry Parker High this year. Last month, a teen was arrested for putting a loaded gun on a table inside of a classroom.
