JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, or FCHCC, honored several local Hispanic business leaders during their annual Excellence in Business – Talentos Hispanos Awards.
The mission of the FCHCC is to, “positively impact the regional economy by creating value, promoting and facilitating the success of Hispanic-owned businesses and by engaging the community at large.”
According to the FCHCC, the business awards were started in 2016 to recognize exemplary individuals and businesses that go above and beyond to make the Jacksonville community a better place to live, work, and raise families.

The 2023 Awards were held on June 1st at The River Club in Downtown Jacksonville. CBS47 and FOX30 Action News Jax Anchor Tenikka Hughes served as emcee for the event. Telemundo Jacksonville and Action News Jax were two of the sponsors of the event.
The following winners were named:
- 2023 Rising Star Award - Fernando Corps, Fade and Combs Barber Lounge
- 2023 Woman Business of the Year - Maria Incer, Incer Global Services
- 2023 Business Leader of the Year - Vince Caicedo, Homecomings Mortgage & Equity
- 2023 Small Business of the Year goes to Veronica Garcia Brown, CPA
- 2023 Corporate Business Award - Florida Blue
- 2023 Up and Coming Business - 1928 Cuban Bistro
