Jacksonville, FL — We’re tracking significant weather changes over the next 24 hours or so. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says a local nor’easter is expected to impact our beaches by late tonight through Wednesday night.
Expect rainfall amounts to be greatest along the coast, where we could exceed an inch. Winds will be gusty at times, up to 30-40 mph possibly, before gradually calming through the day on Thursday.
“Kind of a miserable period here tonight through tomorrow morning for at least the beaches”, said Buresh.
By Thursday and into the weekend we’ll see the sunshine return and gradually warm up into the 70’s.
Here are some of the local impacts for the local nor'easter conditions Tuesday night / Wednesday.
