ST. Augustine, Fla. — As part of the regularly scheduled St. Augustine City Commission meeting on Mon., Apr. 24, 10 local high school seniors will be presented with Citizenship Awards.

The city commission will recognize these graduating high school seniors for their leadership and service to school, community and to other students.
The 2023 Citizenship Awards presentation will take place at the beginning of the commission meeting scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. The meeting, located in The Alcazar Room of City Hall (75 King St.), is open to the public and will be streamed live online or available on-demand the day after at www.CityStAugTV.com.
Award recipients are selected by each participating school. Those awarded will receive a commemorative plaque, a city lapel pin and $200 to assist with further educational endeavors.
The 2023 Citizenship Award recipients are:

- Molly Coolican, Bartram Trail High School
- Paisley Crook, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind-Deaf High School
- Hope Freedman, Ponte Vedra High School
- Tabitha Gottipati, Allen D. Nease High School
- LilyRose Heng Yun Sarchie-Casamassima, Tocoi Creek High School
- Nikalas Orleskie, St. Joseph Academy
- Bailey Thomas, Florida School for the Deaf & Blind-Blind High School
- Ava Willets, St. Augustine High School
- Paige Wilson, Creekside High School
