Make up days available Thur. & Fri. for missed vaccination appointments at city-run sites in Jax

Jacksonville FL — The city of Jacksonville says they’re offering make up days Thursday and Friday if you missed your second dose vaccination appointment at the two city-run vaccination sites. The city says you’ll have to return to the same location where you got your first shot, either the Mandarin or Lane Wiley senior centers, between 9AM and 5PM on the day assigned to your vaccination site.

If you need to return to the Mandarin Senior Center then you’ll show up on Thursday February 18th, and if you need to go to the Lane Wiley Senior Center then you’ll show up on Friday February 19th.

You should bring your ID and shot record card that you got during your first dose. Consent forms will be available at the vaccination sites, but to save you some time you’re encouraged to fill it out before you show up. You can find the form at COJ.net/CovidVaccineForm. According to numbers from the city the number of people who missed their second dose at the two sites is 102.
