A shooting at a Northside gas station puts a man in the hospital with critical injuries.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a man was shot inside a vehicle at the Pipeline gas station on Moncrief Road near 33rd Street.
The man was taken to UF & Shands where police say went into surgery for his injuries.
A witness told police the shooting might have been the result of an attempted robbery.
Our partner Action News reports that deputies scored the scene for evidence, including shell casings and the gunman. No arrests made at this point.
