Jacksonville, FL — Surveillance video could be a key in finding the person responsible for a deadly shooting at the Hometown Inn and Suites off JTB and I-95.
Jacksonville Police say multiple people were seen leaving the hotel early this morning. A man in his late 20's or early 30's was found dead inside a hotel room.
There were clear signs of foul play, police said. As many as five bullet holes were evident in the window of a third floor room.
Investigators tell me they responded to reports of gunfire around midnight, found obvious signs of foul play outside this room and when they forced their way inside found a man shot dead. @ActionNewsJax @WOKVNews pic.twitter.com/9hqhY0F5AI

Bullet holes are what we can see if we take a closer look at that window -- I'm counting at least 5. The work we're seeing investigators doing AT 5 on @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/QNa7UtQbrh
