Man injured, three cars hit by bullets, during shooting at Westside apartment complex

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting at a Westside apartment complex.

According to JSO, they received a call about the shooting just after 5:30 pm, Wednesday, at the Huron Sophia Apartments at 2800 Sophia Street. Their investigation revealed that a man had been shot and then dropped off at a fire station on Huron Street. His condition is unknown at this time, but they say when he was taken to the hospital, his injuries were described as non-life threatening.

Police say three cars were also hit by gunfire during the shooting, though, thankfully, no one else was hurt.
