Man trapped in tank at Asphalt plant

Alyana Gomez with our partner Action news is at the Atlantic Coast Asphalt plant on Soutel Drive on the Westside where firefighters are working to rescue a man stuck in a large tank.

She says at least five fire trucks rushed in to assist the man. Right now, firefighters are using a crane to try to rescue the man. He's said to be in good condition.

Tom Francis with Jacksonville Fire & Rescue says the man is an employee who is stuck in two feet of tar up to his knees. Firefighter are trying to grease him out with peanut oil.

It's not clear yet how the man became trapped.
