Michael Dunn’s trial could be postponed.
We’ve learned a hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday morning to deal with a new motion to continue filed by his Dunn’s attorney. He was assigned a public defender early March after the attorney for his first trial stepped down.
The first degree murder trial is currently scheduled for next month. Dunn is charged with fatally shooting Jordan Davis at a Southside gas station. He has been convicted of three counts of attempted second degree murder relating to three other teens who were in the car with Davis when he fired. His sentencing for those convictions has been postponed. The jury in that trial hung on the murder charge.
