Mixed emotions at funeral for boys killed by mother

A community tries to come together at Fruit Cove Baptist Church to pay its last respects to two boys and their mother who died in a murder-suicide in Julington Creek.

Outside the church Wednesday, a family friend tells our news partner Channel 4 Gayle McCulloch loved her two sons, Daniel and William Rashley.

Police say McCulloch killed her sons, 8-year-old Daniel and 7-year-old William Rashley, then killed herself in their home last week.

"Our focus is life and not death," Pastor Tim Maynard said. "We did not want this to just be about rehearsing a tragedy and talking about how sad we are and how sorry we are and how many questions we have. We all have questions about this, there's no doubt about that."

The boys will be buried in Ohio, where their father lives.
