DAYTONA BEACH, Fla — The popular rock and metal festival “Welcome to Rockville” announced several upgrades for next year.
In a post on social media, Welcome to Rockville says “panoramic video with immersive production” will be coming to the main Apex stage, with the Octane stage getting enhanced visuals.
After adding shade to the Garage stage last year, the festival announced the addition of shade at the Vortex and Inferno stages. This comes as patrons, who come from all over the country, have had to deal with hot Florida weather in recent years. Paramedics have been seen treating attendees with heat-related illnesses during the festival. Rockville has added additional water stations and water spraying areas in the past to help beat the heat.
Welcome to Rockville says more upgrade announcements will be coming in the coming weeks. So far, no lineup announcements have been made. Last year, the four-day festival was headlined by Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Bring Me the Horizon, and My Chemical Romance. Welcome to Rockville 2027 will be May 6-9 at Daytona International Speedway.
2027 is built different... literally. 😮💨 5 stages. 3 tented.
