A change is taking effect for your drive in Nassau County.
The Florida Department of Transportation says two westbound lanes of State Road 200/A1A are shifting on to newly constructed lanes. This affects between the Lofton Creek Bridge and Rubin Davis Lane, which is a little west of Yulee Elementary. The shift will be put in place through the course of the day Saturday, and during that time, the outside westbound lane of SR 200 will be closed.
The FDOT says this shift reflects part of the second phase of the overall improvement of SR 200 between Rubin Davis Lane and O’Neill Scott Road. That project is expected to be completed next spring.
