New program begins Monday to get Clay County back to work

Getting Clay County back to work.

Beginning this Monday, a new program between the county and Career Source will kick-off to help those unemployed find a job. Wednesday, Clay County Emergency Management Director John Ward announced the partnership will be by appointment only and the center will be at the Clay County Fairgrounds.

“Five-days a week, from 9AM to 4PM, they’re gonna be there helping our citizens get reemployed.” Ward says.

He says some of the things you’ll need to bring once you make an appointment are your social security card, a working email address, a resume,  your updated work history and you’ll need to wear a mask.
