Jacksonville, FL — Rapidly changing developments and social isolation are front and center. 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Jacksonville and Clay County.
The Florida Department of Health reports an 83-year-old man in Duval County is in isolation. A 57-year-old man in Clay County has also been confirmed to have coronavirus.
Both local cases are under investigation to determine how they were exposed.
A 68-year-old man in Nassau County was the first local confirmed coronavirus case. And a man from New York who was in Florida for Daytona Bike Week was in isolation in St. Johns County after a positive test.
