JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is dead and another remains in the hospital after a shooting Sunday in Jacksonville’s Hillcrest neighborhood. Jacksonville police said it received a Shotspotter notification at the intersection on Lakeshore Boulevard and Plymouth Street.
Officers arrived and located to males “with significant injuries,” a police news release states. They were taken to two separate hospitals where one was pronounced dead and the other was listed in stable condition following surgery, the news release states.
