Police were called to an apartment complex in the 10500 block of Lem Turner Road just before 3 a.m. in response to a person calling for help.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Bacall Road just after 10 p.m. Monday in response to a person shot.

Dennis Williams, 42, and Antoinette Upshaw, 38, are both charged with attempted murder for the shooting outside of The New Neighborhood Tavern, 15 Century St., Jacksonville.
