Jacksonville — The Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville is investigating an incident in which a 62’ shrimp boat started taking on water. The Coast Guard says after the boat started taking on water, the 3 on board decided to intentionally ground the boat in 4 feet of water a quarter mile off the coast of Little Talbot Island.
The 3 shrimpers were able to float back to shore on a raft.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue says all 3 appear to be ok.
