The Clay County Sheriff's Office is looking for a middle-aged man who allegedly groped two teenage girls in the Branan Field Walmart in Middleburg.  They are asking the public to be on the look-out for him.

It happened on Tuesday, March 25 around 4 p.m.  Deputies say a man in his late 40's or early 50's approached the girls and "tried to entice them to leave with him to go to his home."

After the girls refused and tried to walk away, the man "advanced on the girls and groped them, touching them inappropriately."

Investigators say the girls jumped backwards and are seen on the surveillance video trying to push the man away.

The man is described by the victims as Hispanic, short (about 5'2"), weighing about 225 pounds.  He has dark hair with some gray.  He was wearing a tan, button-up, short sleeve shirt with a collar and light-colored blue jeans with dark-colored shoes.  He left the Walmart on foot in the direction of Branan Field.

The CCSO wants the community to be on the look-out for the man and contact law enforcement immediately if he is seen.  They're also asking the community to contact the CCSO Special Victim Unit with any information about his identity if they recognize him from any of the photos.  The number is 904-264-6512.
