Jacksonville, FL — There was a threat someone was going to “shoot up the school”.
A threat to Raines High School led the Duval County School District to lock the school down Friday, but that was lifted about an hour later. All staff and students are safe.
The police report obtained by WOKV shows a woman came to the school Friday to report that someone had posted on Facebook that he was going to “shoot up the school”. The incident report was heavily redacted, including most details about the Facebook page of the person who made the threat. DCPS tells WOKV the person was not authorized to be on the school campus.
School officials will continue to work with law enforcement on the full investigation.
