JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The COVID-19 Testing site at the Regency Mall will now offer rapid testing.
According to the Florida Division of Emergency Management, people can get their results within one hour of the test. The results will be texted or email to the patient.
If a person is symptomatic and tests negative to the rapid test, they can opt to do a regular COVID-19 test, however those results will take 24 to 48 hours to process.
To receive a free test, people must bring photo identification. It is a drive-thru test and children can be tested. The testing site is located at the Old Sears at Regency Square Mall. The site is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made here.
