Judging by how things have been going in recent years, this may have been almost inevitable.
The problems at Sears are hitting us on the First Coast.
The company, which also owns Kmart, announced they will be shutting down 10 Sears stores and 68 Kmart locations, after declining sales.
That includes the Sears at the Regency Square Mall, as well as the Kmart in Mandarin and the one in Neptune Beach.
The closures are expected by July, but some may stretch until mid-September.
