The new owner of the Jaguars Shad Khan formally introduces himself to the Jacksonville Friday afternoon at Everbank field and announces his big plan for Jacksonville's home team.
Khan expressed that not only does he want to focus on hiring a new coach, he would like to expand the Jaguars brand name internationally.
“I think it would serve Jacksonville well to play a game or two overseas to get the name Jacksonville out,” says Khan.
He continued on to say that he and his wife always lived the American dream.
“Both Ann and I we’ve lived the American dream and if there was one thing missing in our lives, it was an NFL franchise,” says Khan.
Khan also expressed his commitment to Jacksonville and what he had in store.
“This ticket to the Jaguars is going to be the hottest ticket in the business,” says Khan.
He also expressed that he believes in fate and destiny, and felt Jacksonville was his calling.
“I am in Jacksonville because my number got called and Jacksonville called the numbers,” says Khan.
