Jacksonville FL — Jacksonville Police are investigating a shooting from Wednesday night in a busy part of the Baymeadows area. Police say they responded to a Motel 6 on Philips Highway near Baymeadows Road around 8 and they found a man in his 40’s who was shot. He’s expected to survive, police say he was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The only description of the suspects police say they have is two unknown black men who were seen running away from the scene. Despite the active search police say they don’t believe any one in the area is in any danger.
